Indesign CC does not display linked PDF image on screen


on mac1 (10.6.8) when imported pdf file indesign cc 9.1 linked image - image come in usual, image not appear on screen. blank page box.

i can see thumbnail image of imported pdf in links palette correctly.

however, on page appears blank box.

selected hi-res preview, , still appears blank box.

i export pdf, , image there should on exported pdf.

 

i tried same image on mac2 (10.8.3) indesign cc.

the imported image appears correctly on page. (no blank box)

i saved file , opened on mac1 having problem displaying image.

mac1 again not display image, instead blank box.

 

tried same image import in cs6. no issue on either mac1 or mac2

 

what causing imported pdf not display on page in indesign cc?

has else come across problem?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
