Thread: Mirrored HDD -SATA Fine, USB3 - grub rescue

my system has both esata , usb3

when plugging hdd esata, system boots fine. when change usb3, dumped grub rescue shortly after turning machine on.

have tried boot-repair seems go through ok, when reboot machine via usb3 - same error message.

upon running ls grub given following (hd0),(hd0,msdos1), (hd0,msdos3)

id appreciate one.

im running ubuntu 11.04 btw have check bios options can think of - ensuring system set boot usb 3 - hence grub rescue

thx
