Thread: onboard keyboard doesn't work (unity)


onboard keyboard app no longer works in unity.

have tried reinstalling it, updating, etc. board come nicely when highlight field can have text entered, however, cannot

- type keys
- close window
- move window

keyboard seems randomly highlight several keys @ once.

have tried using mouse, , touch screen (lenovo x220t) neither work, both behave same way.

should fix this?

also, i've tried install other keyboards in unity (florence, gok) no avail.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. (you have if have cross compiled app windows) https://live.gnome.org/gtkmm/mswindows (2) run these commands create proper directory structure. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
