Thread: Need System76 support


i on pan4n running 11.10.

1. cannot use email support link site since requires serial number. comes "not found" (yes, i'm sure i'm using correct one), therefore cannot use page, hence post here.

2. webcam not work after several upgrades (i think last time worked version 8x. fn/f10 trick not work.

3. tsstcorp cddvdw ts-l633a drive (firmware revision: tm00) no longer works should. can insert media , view it, can no longer burn media disk. i've tried types of disks , every different tool can think of (k3b, command line, brasero, xfburn) @ different write speeds no avail. tools write successful media remains blank. believe it's firmware issue there firmware update appears windows , not run in wine.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. (you have if have cross compiled app windows) https://live.gnome.org/gtkmm/mswindows (2) run these commands create proper directory structure. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
