CreativeCloud App reports: "Not connected to Internet"


hi,

 

we've installed creative cloud win7-64bit laptop.  starting cc, reports "not connected internet" & won't allow login.

 

internet "connected" - no problems accessing website (eg google).

 

laptop connected directly adsl internet (no corporate settings/network/proxy involved).

 

very puzzled.  can (please)??
