Windows 81 SNAFU


since installing windows update 8.1 unable make pdfs or booklet pdfs indesign cs6. is  there fix or trick can do?

1. search information if indesign cs6 compatible windows 8.1.

2. if not compatible, check if there patches available make compatible windows 8.1

3. if have adobe printer installed, check if able print pdfs within word or similar.

4. if not help, install indesign administrator ("run administrator...") again , mind there no errors coming up.
5. last resort: install windows 7 again (imho, windows 8 sucks anyway)

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
