Thread: Blu-Ray with non-HDCP display

hey all!

i'm running ubuntu 12.04 32-bit edition , wondering if there's way of getting blu-ray discs play in ubuntu, preferably through vlc. i've seen guides around involving hdcp master key, i'm unsure if bypasses requirement having both hdcp-compliant graphics card , display. have compliant graphics card, monitor is, unfortunately, not hdcp compliant.

know can done under windows (i'm doing right now) use of anydvd hd, i'm not sure linux.

so, work me , non-hdcp display blu-ray discs, or have rip them? i'd rather not mess things until can sure it'll work.
