a few days ago opened existing file, let's call image.tif, , after editing saved jpeg. jpeg file, , used in open office document publish print edition of book.   now working on digital edition. when try open same image.jpg created elements few days ago, message: application has failed start because cqt.dll not found.   furthermore, when opened underlying file image.tif in attempt re-create jpeg, find can save tif, gif, bmp, , png -- no jpeg allowed!   i re-installed elements have identical problem.   if ignore warning , try open image.jpg anyhow, message: not complete request because unknown or invalid jpeg marker type found. hi, i've purchased first fsm-270yg 27 inch monitor ebay, , have been having troubles gettint play nicely second monitor toshiba portege r830-13c. when starting laptop monitor plugged in (using dvi-d hdmi cable), second monitor isn't used. managed use xrandr display strange tiled view seems 4 views @ same size laptops 1366x768 monitor using following modeline: xrandr --newmode "2560x1440_60.0" 311.83 2560 2744 3024 3488 1440 1441 1444 1490 -hsync +vsync xrandr --addmode hdmi1 2560x1440_60.0 gives view shown in image, makes no sense me... have seen luck people have had on forum using twinview nvidia cards ( http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=12159781 ), haven't seen working in configuration yet. fun, have attached output xrandr --verbose. can give me in getting monitor working properly/understanding problem appreciated! attached images ...

this may dumb question, how premiere pro , after effects rely on hard drive it's installed on if video files, assets, disk cache, etc on different drives 1 program installed on?   the reason asking have "relatively" slow sata ii ssd c drive has os (windows 7 64bit) , programs (adobe editing programs, no games) installed on , nothing else. of files used in projects saved on either fast sata iii ssd or slower hdd depending on files are. example, disk cache on sata iii, stills on hdd.   being cyber monday have opportunity buy fast sata iii ssd replace current sata ii ssd c drive (just os , programs). both synthetic , real world benchmarks show near double in performance. want know if thinks upgrade worth because know there won't increase in performance since no videos, still, cach, etc stored on c drive.   the alternative second monitor because use 1 21" monitor.   i suppose alternative not buy on cyber monday deals , save money else.   any advice or input apprecia...

hi, have removed various rhythmbox directorys superuser make rhythmbox detect artbox correctly, have done not fix problem spoil menu bars of interface (window menu, play/pause/forward/next controls) remember 1 of directorys /usr/share/rhythmbox how can recover rhythmbox? have tried apt-get remove --purge rhythmbox nothing works, when reinstall software dont have controls appreciated p.d: sorry english, i'm spain , not bilingual /usr/share/rhythmbox directory includes makes rhythmbox function. thing can think of following. code: sudo apt-get install --reinstall rhythmbox be careful when removing items root file system , if not sure post question here.
