hi, i'm using usb wifi card tl-wn722n tp-link ubuntu 12.04. works fine, when use amule, , after while (sometimes 1 hour , simetimes 15 minutes), freezes , computer gets disconnected internet. stick gets freezed led switched on, , led switched off. have unplug , plug again in different port gets connected again , computer connects internet. also, sometimes, computer freezes , see black screen violet line on top, , there nothing can except pressing reset button. knows how solve problem?, or @ list detect problem comes from....? i've been searching in log files don't know log should read , search for... hi, try deactivate hardware encryption of driver: code: echo "options ath9k_htc nohwcrypt=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k_htc.conf sudo modprobe -rfv ath9k_htc sudo modprobe -v ath9k_htc change encryption mode pure wpa2 only, if possible. see router manual this. ...

i removed lightroom 5 installed disc, , installed lightroom 5 cloud. keyword list still displayed in lhs panel, images have no keywords associated them. how can re-instate keyword-image association?  how did transfer images/catalog installed lr5 disc newly installed lr5 cloud?   don't mean keyword list on right? or appearance of cloud version of lr5 such keywords on left?   when "images have no keywords", did , see no keywords? お世話になります。 mac osx 10.9 , photoshop ccを使用しています。 尚、同じマシンには、photoshopcs4もインストールしてあります。   初期設定のものも含め、設定したアクションをバッチ形式で実行すると、必ず、以下のようなエラーが発生します。   「＊＊＊」コマンドは現在使用できません。 （＊＊＊は実行したバッチの最初に設定したアクションです。）   ただし、同じアクションをアクションパレットから実行、もしくは、ドロップレットを作成して実行する分には問題なく動作します。     photoshopの再インストール、adobe photoshop cc prefs.pspの削除、actions palette.pspの削除等行いましたが、 同じようにエラーで動作が止まってしまいます。   一般的なエラーではないと思いますが、なにか心当たりありましたら、ご教授ください。 Photoshopコミュニティフォーラム (Japan) でのその他のディスカッション adobe

after performing clean install of ubuntu 64b on gateway laptop, discovered basic shortcuts no longer work used to. example, pressing ctrl + shift + left/right (selecting text until whitespace) or ctrl + shift + tab (go backwards 1 tab on chrome/firefox) or control + shift + v (pasting text on terminal) doesn't work anymore. what's weird, though, if change order , press first shift + ctrl + left, shortcuts work correctly :/ other shortcuts such alt + tab (application switcher) , respective alt + shift + tab work regardless of order pressed, they're supposed to. ctrl+shift+up (or combination of it) bound volup works should. checked shortcuts bindings ctrl+shift combination, couldn't find any. ideas or how check what's blocking other ctrl+shift shortcuts? update: realized happens left shift (shift_l). checked out keyboard layout , pressed right ctrl+shift works expected, on left side have press shift first, otherwise doesn't recogn...

i'm running ubuntu 12.04.1 , i'm 'mid-advanced' user, terminology may not correct here. system records (captures?) sound external microphone (checked arecord). however, when start 'heavier' app (like firefox) stops recording (arecord hangs). annoying while skyping can't during talk , capturing stops without action during skyping (suddenly person stops hearing me). in case if happenes close skype (otherwise hangs upon next step), type "sudo alsa force-reload" , capturing (recording?) works again until same thing happens. problem occured on computer since first ubuntu install: 10.04, after reinstallation , again after upgrade 12.04.1 (no problems win xp before). hiya, have been using xbmclive /win7 dual boot on 3 years 1 day messed ive decided take plunge , go linux on media pc..... acer revo r3610, 2gb ram, 320gb installed ubuntu 12.04 64bit latest version of xbmc v11.0 latest nvidia drivers v304.37 hdmi sony 40" lcd cant see inch or of screen way around edge, , can not find anyway rectify this. ive been through settings in nvidia x settings , cant see overscan i've managed reduce screen size in xbmc ok, why cant on main linux desktop? thanks, steve why don't disable overscan feature?
