Thread: Update & Broken Packages


hi,

i've updated system via ubuntu tweak, , cleaned packaged cleanup. ut removed lot of packages, didn't check see removed

has removed libreoffice , other stuff wanted keep, , when try , reinstall libreoffice, won't let me stating broken packages, , dependencies not going installed!

idea what's going on?

actually can fix broken packages using
code:
sudo apt-get install -f
. open terminal , type command . need have error report you're getting.

p.s : better use update manager/ apt-get update ubuntu.you can watch , manage doing pc .

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
