Thread: Ubuntu now starts up with wrong display ratio


hi
on bootup accidentally pressed wrong key when grub menu came , went "recovery mode" ubuntu 12.04 lts install. after navigating through menus selected option resume normal boot, failed activate of graphics drivers (it gave me warning tell me that). since then, every time boot up, 1368x768 resolution @ login screen ... 1024x768 in user session.
every time log in have go straight cog menu on right > displays > set correct resolution again.
please?

maybe re-installing drivers or updating them

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
