How to install Lightroom from CC when Lr5 is already installed


little help?

 

i have lr 5 (5.2) installed , have joined photographers deal.  have installed ps no problem have been told 'chat' install lightroom cc first need uninstall lightroom 5?  surely not?  need re-import everything, redo previews, recreate collections?

 

surely im missing something?

 

thanks advice.

open lr5, click help>deactivate.

 

then click help>activate , use cc adobe id activate.

 

although, if purchased lr 5 outright, doesn't make sense that. 

 

on other hand if have lr 5 via previous cc subscription should have used same adobe id both cc purchases.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
