Thread: Wired internet won't load certain websites


i'm having odd problem internet connection.

when use wireless connection, cannot connect pages (gmail, google, xkcd, youtube) while other websites (twitter, tumblr, blip) load fine.

i'm having problem both firefox , chrome, , miro won't download youtube either. pinging these websites works fine, though.

when connect wirelessly through android phone, internet works fine. when start computer in windows 7, works fine too.

have idea problem be?

edit: have updated system , can access pages again. not entirely sure if though. if knows anything, i'd curious.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
