Text in Indesign CS6 changes to symbols


i have file which, upon opening in cs6, changes part of text symbols , keeps rest normal. fonts change helvetica (tt). changed font helvetica regular , remained symbols. what's weird if select on page , paste new document, goes normal. if save, close, reopen changes symbols again. had cs5 open idml version , looked fine on computer, when tried package fonts kept locking up. ideas?!? huge pain try 4 page newsletter out if have copy , paste whole thing each time open it!

what know file history?

 

you can learn quite lot, usually, byt holding ctrl key on windows or cmd key on mac , choosing indesign fro either (win) or indesign(mac) menu.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
