Designer ES2 and Word 2010


hello fellows,

 

i have adobe lc designer es2 v.9.0.0.2.20120627.2.874785 , experiencing 2 problems related office 2010:

 

1. designer not find word 2010 on computer although it's installed. known issue, , requires installing service pack 2 quick fix or modifying registry manually.

    downloaded quick fix adobe support page when running patch (for 9.0.0.2.x versions), says not match installed version or cannot find it.

 

2. if manually fix path word 2010 in win7 registry, lc designer crashes when importing doc. file (it happens when designer completes import operation). tried importing docx, doc, , rtf files - same result.

 

do have suggestions on how solve these 2 issues?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
