Thread: Wireless network connection very unstable.


i'm having troubles internet connection in ubuntu right now. well, few actually.

first, when compare speeds between ubuntu , windows, i'm getting double link speed on windows on ubuntu.

second, internet connection periodically drops. when i'm downloading large file or putting large load on connection. can't connect internet few seconds , connection drops , tries reconnect (which after few seconds).

i've tried few fixes i've found around google none of them have helped me. wired connection fine router in place can't use wired default connection. wireless connection 1 problems.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
