Can't unlock a layer?


hello:                                                                                     windows 8 64bit - ps cc

 

i have image client , it's 1 layer it's locked , able unlock , add new layer above unable do.

 

any ideas why is?

 

i know can re-save can add new layer @ least still curious why can't unlock layer.

 

also, building package of images sell.  have locked layers still want people (hopefully) buy them able unlock them -

 

      not can do? must leave layers unlocked? part have done keep particular aspects of images safe being altered new users of photoshop etc.

if background layer partially locked photoshop background layer not support transparency. therefore transparency locked on bottom photoshop background layer. no layer can moved below , if layer visibility can not turned off.  photoshop background layer special layer. 1 nor required in document , can convert background layer normal layer , unlock it.

 

you should able add layer above not 1 below it. try shift+ctrl+alt+n

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
