No ebooks after reinstallation (and pc authorization)


hi there, bought ebook ade local online bookstore (ibs.it) , after authorizing pc adobe id able read it. had upgrade pc , reinstall ade, after reauthorizing program same adobe id no ebooks appeared on shelves. went , re-downloaded licence store when clicked on it said error: already_fulfilled_by_another_user... how can do? spent money in ebook, , need university too! please!!

sometimes ade gets confused registration, particularly after reinstall.

it seems half remember old registration not correctly, , sorts of odd things happen.

so try deregistering , reregistering ~~~~ below.

 

if upgrade presumably have old files;

you should able open them on new pc/ade once registration corrected.

sometimes ade gets registration/activation confused , in semi-authorized state.

uninstalling , reinstalling not help.

unfortunately, gives misleading error messages wrong.

a common incorrect message informs id in use on computer , cannot reused.

 

this can resolved removing authorization using ctrl-shift-d library screen on ade (cmd-shift-d if on mac).

restart ade, , reauthorize (old) adobe id.

 

in extreme cases on mac, following step has helped people.  navigate /users//library/application support/adobe/digital editions , drag activation.dat file trash. if using 10.7, see access hidden user library files | mac os 10.7 lion. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1265248?tstart=0

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
