Is there any need to download and install LR5 CC if I already have LR5.2 full standalone version?


i have purchased creative cloud photographers package, on offer @ $9.99 (£8.78) @ moment. existing cs6 premium customer know includes photoshop cs6 extended.  have downloaded , installed cc versions of photoshop , bridge. on face of it, lr5 , lr5 cc same - don't want end duplicated lr catalogs, hoping familiar cc ramifications can clarify , hoipefully confirm don't need install lr5 cc..

as aside, have had re-download updated version of onone's perfect photosuite (7.5.1), existing copy of perfect photosuite 7.5 didn't appear in 'file > automate in ps cc.

lr-regular , lr-cc licensed differently, work same, otherwise.  can run either one, now.  when comes time upgrade lr6, you’d want download , install via cc wouldn’t have pay extra. 

 

personally, uninstalled non-cc lr5 make sure lr5-cc subscription working, , left it.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
