CS5 won't update/refresh changes

hi,

 

i having issues photoshop cs5, reason if make changes psd don't display straight away normal, have been having zoom in/out of psd force changes appear, whether adding/editing text or images, won't show straight away used to. haven't added plugins know of, it's pretty stock standard version 12.0.4 x64 , assumed maybe graphic card related updated latest drivers no luck i'm lost...
