Thread: tty6 showing on X console.


when turn off tv when turn on x console displays tty6 curser still on screen. have press ctrl+alt+(f1-f6) ctrl+alt+f7 see x console again. since use computer media center remain on x console or @ least automatically x console when tv turned on. found way determin when tv turned on , have set correct resolution using xrandr don't know how send keycodes outside of x. use able use kbde(a keyboard emulator) doesn't support kernels greater 2.6.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
