ok did stupid.

new install of lubuntu on home theatre pc, went torrent site uses magnet links, clicked on torrent wanted download, gave me big page of text on first time try dl magnet link, , hit ok, , set default handler without looking.

dumb, had never started transmission on machine, , have accidentally set chromium browser default handler magnet torrent links. dumb.

how can change transmission handles them?

i'm not 100% sure in case of lxde think can right click torrent icon, select properties, , drop down box or other menu of kind labelled "open with" or of sort. you'll able select transmission or other torrent client of choice there. case file managers.

edit: checked , seems lxde uses pcmanfm file manager - happy coincidence - 1 have on computer, method should work. it'll listed under internet applications "customize" if it's not 1 of defaults, be.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
