Thread: Indicator-Keylock Caps Lock Applet missing after upgrade 10.04 to 12.04


hi -

sorry if posted, did search. have indicator-keylock installed it's not showing on "top menu" next battery, im, network, logout etc. applets. there before upgrade 10.04 12.04.

ideas on how capslock applet appear ?

in advance.

solved.

1. uninstall indicator-keylock installed 10.04

2. add indicator-keylock ppa found in url below

https://launchpad.net/~tsbarnes/+arc...icator-keylock

3. re-install using above ppa version suited ubuntu 12.04

4. run indicator-keylock application launcher > dash home , applet appears on task menu (top).

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
