Thread: 12.04 privacy settings not working


hi,

i'm having troubles privacy settings (activity log manager) in ubuntu 12.04. seems doesn't matter if turn activity recording on or of, record used files. history deleting not work. when try delete of history, there still files shown in used items. other stuff disabling activity recording files, specific folders or applications not work well..

i've had clean installation of ubuntu , don't know have might gone wrong :s

know can remove .local/share/recently-used.xbel point of having tool kind of stuff if doesn't work.

thank in advance answers.

i'm having problem these privacy settings in 12.04. when choosing delete history (all), nothing happens. when selecting file types should not record activity for, still record activity. when selecting applications activity not recorded, still record activity.

on earth going on here?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
