Scans show up as black, blank pages when filed


i use adobe reader xi v11.0.04

 

i have hp photosmart d110 series printer use macbook pro.  when scan document using "hp scan" app on computer, doc shows scanned on computer screen.  when go save it, following error message:  "an error has occurred saving file because not written to.  check properties file make sure not read-only." 

 

i have rescanned doc several times same message. have uninstalled program , reinstalled cd - same message.  i've tried save various files same message.  set new file make sure not read-only file - same message.

 

also, when try scan using screen on printer, screen shows "scanning" it's not since don't see light nor hear noise.

 

anybody got ideas???

i don't see adobe reader involved anywhere in process.  me sounds mac os or permission problem.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
