OpenCL enabled GPU crashes displays on Export.


i'm having weird ghost of problem upon exporting premiere pro cc dual apple 23" monitors lose picture , won't turn on.

 

the computer continues run , finishes export won't return picture without hard restart.

 

i started running mercury engine gpu opencl accelerator since upgraded 6.0 cc , became available.

 

the way can export run , able use computer turn off gpu acceleration.

 

am overloading gpu, confusing because started happening in last week , i've been on cc on month.

 

i've tested ame , takes longer, still shuts them down.

 

system specs:

 

2 x 2.93 6-core xeon

96 gigs ram

ati radeon hd 5870

osx lion 10.7.5

512 gig ssd startup

12 tb raid

have updated premiere pro cc since started having issues?

 

i don't think have enough vram run both hardware acceleration mercury playback engine , dual monitor support. happens if use single monitor?

 

1 gb minimum mercury playback, , allow enable card though not officially supported. said, have take other system resources pulling video card.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
