How can I access a Photoshop Elements catalog on an external hard disc from both: Mac and Windows PC


how can directories , path named, catalog can access same picture files.

otherwise, backup/restore external drive, choice restore on custom location.

moving catalog :

first locate catalog folder situated : menu / system info.

copy whole folder external drive.

in copied catalog, double click catalog.pse12db file, open organizer , new catalog. appear in 'custom location' section in catalog manager.

 

backup , restore solution : restore on 'custom location', new master folder created on external drive.

 

the first time using catalog on either computer, you'll have use catalog manager (file / catalog...) browse external drive location of catalog. after that, location remembered in each computer.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
