Thread: How to make a router with ubuntu


i want block cerntain websites, unforunitally router won't allow me to. so, think shutting down wireless part of router, hooking machine loaded ubuntu server has wireless card via eithernet, , have machine act "router" able block website not main computer, devices connect through network , make more secure. possible? newbie ubuntu, apologize if don't understand or give bad understanding. thank in advance helping me , taking time read this. have day/night.

try smoothwall, it's great. used use in day before nats cheap. on ubuntu side, yes it's not going ez.
think smoothwall easier new user , running.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
