Thread: Configure wireless settings for a particular network


hi,

trying configure wireless settings in order connect university's wireless network. give configuration instructions windows 7 users , tried configure settings on ubuntu 12.04 based on info in these instructions. unfortunately still not able connect. after entering credentials computer tries connect while asks me credentials again. made sure entered right username , password.

instructions provided here. if can enlighten me appreciated.

i tried "geotrust global ca" certificate mentioned in windows instructions. tried setting "inner authentication" gtc, windows instructions indicate eap-token. still no luck.

ideas? trying network manager (such wicd) make difference?

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
