inDesign files (indd) are set to open using Acrobat XI Pro and I can't change that


ive tried following various items of advise offered people similar problem here , no success.

i had big hic-up in acrobat installation no longer working here removed default font used in context menus. consequently acrobat messed up. adobe tech patiently walked me through fixing problem but... ever since .indd files set open acrobat , can't set them open indesign. registry key has couple of monster number entries under indd can't identify or figure out represent.

 

this starting drive me nuts. using 'open with' has no effect. acrobat still tries open file. way can open indesign file firstly open indesign , search file. thankfully still open way. i've got full house of cc on workstation , i'm not thrilled @ hood of formatting drive , starting on again. surely else had had , fixed issue?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
