Thread: Unable to fastforward/rewind DVD played in VLC


hi,

running ubuntu 12.04 , have video_ts dvd structure on computer edit in avidemux , make new dvd resulting edited vob. in devede , burn reulting iso in k3b.

problem unable fastforward/rewind original video_ts, when played in vlc, , problem present in resulting edited , burned dvd above. suspect original dvd somehow wrongly encoded, problem. trying fix it.

can play through whole dvd fine if not fastforwarding/rewinding/pausing during play.

have searched internet not find relevant, why post here. know might wrong place so, hoping there knowledgable people in here can @ least point me right direction.

thinking that, if possible, ffmpeg should tool need use fix problem, unfortunately, still beginner @ ffmpeg.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
