opened ".pdf.exe" attachment from email


using win7... received email attachment inside company .pdf.exe suffix.  unfortunately, opened it.  .exe files go acrobat error message displayed ".exe file cannot opened".  'task manager' , 'regedit' can't open.

 

was able uninstall acrobat (version x) , laptop normal.  tried installing version xi, same thing happened again.

 

pls help

it's more you're infected kind of virus or malware. ask people run anti-virus , anti-malware scan on pc. also, should block executables being sent on email.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
