iMac, GTX 680MX, CS6, AE = no GPU. Why?


running ae cs6 v 11.01.27 on imac mac os 10.8.4

i have followed steps in discussion http://forums.adobe.com/message/5204458#5204458   post3 video, @ conclusion of steps, in preferences can see cuda enabled. when cuda not enabled. see screenshot;

cuda installed v5.5.25 . in raytracer_supported_cards.txt file line;

geforce gtx 680mx

has been added. should work not.

gpu accelleration *is* working premiere cs6.

 

 

the imacs dual boot. under win7, cuda supported , works 100% ae or premiere. same hardware ok under win7 not under mac os.

 

any ideas why not work on mac os? not single mac, have 25 doing same. missing something?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
