has experience of connecting canon printer mg3150 computer running ubuntu 11.10

first add ppa:
code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:michael-gruz/canon
code:
sudo apt-get update
open software center:


search for: "canon cnijfilter", in list; pick driver printer series , "canon scangear", in list; pick driver scanner series.


both should install pretty , afterwards go system settings/printers , add printer.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
