Authorizing Additional Devices


i school librarian , have purchased 10 nook simple touch devices students borrow.  hae laptop using "download station" download e-book overdrive , transfer nook.  set ade account using adobe id/email address, can authorize 6 nooks.  there way add adobeid on laptop nooks can authorized 1 computer?

you lucky have got away 6 nooks, 6 devices in total (including computer).

 

it may if use different os level users on laptop able register them different adobe ids.

also, can keep on deregistering 1 id (ctrl-shift-d, cmd-shift-d on mac) , reregistering other

... not convenient, , i'm not sure adobe registration server might not lose count , think you've got more registrations do.

 

if arrange 2 different adobe ids, find cannot share books between them.

 

adobe may have special arrangements schools , libraries, or possibly ask overdrive themselves.

i suspect overdrive might more helpful core business,

where abobe seem treat whole adept drm thing (software , infrastructure) total lack of professionalism.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
