Partially Underlined Links

hi all,

 

i having problems(?) links creating in adobe acrobat x pro (10.1.1). recieved pdf file department asked me create bookmarks , links.

 

i have multiple lines start number gap (either tab or column origianl program) , text. when highlight both text , numbers both highlighted (no highlight on gap) right click , 'create link'. in dialogue box choose 'visible rectangle', 'underline', 'invert', 'medium' (line thickness), 'go page view' (link action) choose next , pick page.

 

my problem visual of links. of links blue line under numbers , text not gap others underline under numbers , text not gap. question why or how them consistent? on line puts underline under gap can not select gap per say. can double click on numbers , numbers selected , can double click on text , hightlight word can't double click on gap select (as if there nothing there - in either instance).

 

as can see image below first 6 links have underline beneathe gap , next doesn't, next 1 , last 2 don't again. created using same method describe above.

 

any thoughts or suggestions?

how particular pdf created? can check under file > properties > description tab. what's odd underline split more faint on right-hand side.
