How do I sort my catalog so the newest images are on top?


i know happens automatically in elements not seem happening in lightroom 5. related question is, in elements there calendar bar across top of screen. allows me see files in relation big shoots or short or no shoots. find helpful. there in lightroom?

if click on catalog tab (top left in library below navigator) can select photographs. use bottom tool bar sort e.g. capture date.  click a-z button change sort if want newest first. give view, in elements organizer.

 

but lightroom has powerful metadata searching capabilities using library filter. press backslash key reveal filter @ top of thumbnails. click metadata tab in filter options , many options including dates years. can click on small disclosure triangle left of each year expand months.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
