Thread: Removing locations from "Computer" links in Nautilus


hello!

completed dual-boot of ubuntu 12.04 , windows 7, , wondering if/how remove of links in "computer" list in nautilus. because i'm running dual boot, have of music/documents/photos/videos on separate partition, links ~/documents, ~/music, ~/pictures, , ~/videos aren't necessary me. i'd able remove them if possible, when right-click on them, "remove" option grayed out. able remove think associated bookmarks in "edit bookmarks" menu, still appear in sidebar.

in advance help! i'm jazzed joining ubuntu community

can hide side bar f9 . f9 again unhide.

if want remove specific entries , think not possible.

must disable (delete) entries together.

although best option might create symlinks , eg music folder point music folder @ separate partition have music.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
