Thread: No sound after monitor switch on/off


hi
whenever turn monitor off sound stops working (specs below). during 'hdmi/displayport' graphics card, carries sound, stops being 'shown' in system settings > sound. notably, hdmi/displayport audio still 'shown' output device in pulseaudio volume control.
restarting computer solves problem, turning monitor on/off again has no effect.
can solve this?

graphics card: radeon hd 6870

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
