Thread: ethernet on macbuntu suddenly stops working


hi all, ethernet connection on macbook running ubuntu 12 has been working along dhcp, until reason ip got changed 192.168 address doesn't allow me connect internet, , noticed dns server got changed 192.168.10.1 seems wrong me. pointers fix problem? i've booted osx after happened , ethernet there works fine, don't think it's problem hardware / router.

you won't feedback unless provide @ least information network infrastructure.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
