Re DG 2.0


i diwnloaded dg2.0 on buying new book. had used 1.7 on older computer. book not download sony ereader 300 series. on reading support see should have dg1.5. right? can't see how 1.5 anyway. how download now? jim conway

there lots of bugs in ade2, including incompatiblilty sony readers , overdrive books

there lots of bugs in ade2.0 (and 2.0.1).  try replacing ade2.0 older more reliable v1.7.2.

(you can have them both installed @ once if like.)

version 1.7.2, little difficult find, available on adobe site windows , mac.

some people have found ade trying upgrade automatically. 

it appears (not 100% sure) if install ade2.0 new install (not upgrade) 1.7.2 continue run.

probably best no if 2.0.x installation asks if want migrate library.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
