, detect camera in
but the input in of them black / no input @ all.code:/dev/video1
brand name of webcam (turbo-x) doesn't matter, same device branded under many different names (usually under name of shop sells it).

i found webcam uses gspca driver lately became kernel module.code:bus 002 device 004: id 0ac8:0323 z-star microelectronics corp. luxya wc-1200 usb 2.0 webcam
gives me:code:lsmod | grep gspca
after googling followed advice try use older version of "video linux" driver (v4l1 instead of v4l2) ,code:gspca_vc032x 31999 0 gspca_main 27654 1 gspca_vc032x videodev 86588 2 gspca_main,uvcvideo
gave me:code:ld_preload=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so cheese
is there out there, kind enough, provide idea can stop me quiting on this?code:error: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so' ld_preload cannot preloaded: ignored.
