Thread: K3B audio cd burning error


hey guys,
using ubuntu 12.04 precise pangolin.
k3b keeps giving me tis error whenever try burn audio cd
"cdrecord returned unknown error code (254)
using tao may fix problem."
when try use tao says should use dao. funny thing burns last 2 songs (for example: burns first 14 songs out of batch of 16.). can hear songs on car cd player except last 2. have solution problem? can solve such problems on own of google on googling find many forum posts none have been helpful far.
please help
in advance

have tried burning @ lower speed and/or using media different manufacturer?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
