hi,
i've installed 12.04 32bit desktop edition on old dell optiplex. give little more poke, have added radeon hd 5450 video card. works, expect performance well, less staggering.

notice when @ system details says 'graphic: vesa' though have latest catalyst driver 12.6 installed.

if type 'echo $desktop_session' 'ubuntu' suggest well

normal, or have done wrong?
