wifi @ school unsecured in sense don't have enter password part of actual connection process. connect, sends me web page requesting id , password. happens, iirc, @ many coffee shops , such.

notice windows manages remember logon , skip step. not remember logon , password, skip step entirely.

way ubuntu (precise pangolin) well?

(and if chance tell me how same android 4.0-based tablet, grateful.)

right click network icon on panel , choose edit connection. select wifi connection problem , click edit again, make sure select connect automatically , make available users.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
