Thread: Adobe Flash Player Plugin?


i have ubuntu adobe flash player plugin software centre.. , way on ubuntu 10.10 since computer can't handle newer ubuntu.. . i'm wondering how do clean install of flash player plugin? know uninstall there profile folder in should delete after sudo apt-get remove of it? removed flash player plugin in past see if fix problem having on browsers need firefox, opera.. chrome don't need has built in flash player.

i don't know if fix issue can fully uninstall things (config files , all) command

sudo apt-get --purge remove [package name]
edit: off-topic, mention computer can't handle newer ubuntu. issue of desktop environment - have tried using lighter weight 1 such xfce, lxde or (if you're more advanced user , interested in/willing put effort lots of customization) openbox?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
