Might updating flashplayer restart my computer and make Mozilla start from scratch?


yesterday computer became slow, restarted (included running chkdsk).

afterwards behaved normal, , put sleeping mode every evening.

when turning on omputer today, started scratch, not sleeping modus.

when starting mozilla, opened 1 window , 1 page, mozillas start page.

it has history of pages i've visited, not able restart previous session.

visiting event log, find nothing suspicious, flash player updated without restarting.

therefor wonder if adobe might have destryed day.

flash player has no apis in affect windows sleep settings or firefox session restore settings. affects flash content (data storage , protected content access) on pages view, , webcam settings (cam , mic) if use them.

 

to use analogy, it's buying new blu-ray player (blu-ray only, no tuner or else) , after connecting it, discover channel settings on tv have been reset factory defaults. there's nothing in player have caused it.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
