Thread: Fiefox sound but no video mp4


i running ubuntu 12.04 x64 , firefox 14.0.1. went site mp4 file. got progress bar , controls sound no video. used flash-aid install x64 adobe beta version, 11.2.202.236. when things still did not work (same symptoms), used flash-aid>help>generate report see if determine might happening. in report, following error messages:

i have been upgrading on-line since ubuntu 9.10, seems have "flash" modules not there causing broken links other flash players/plug-ins.

best approach clean situation not have broken links , other plug-ins not need? also, there other things should in report may indicate problem is?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
