Use Pathfinder (intersect) with text and multiple brushes

i'd apply stamp effect on text. that's complicated. here's did:

1. add text

2. convert text outlines , ungroup glyphs, because otherwise won't affect text @ all

3. select brush dirt brushes

4. paint few strokes across text

5. convert brushes paths well

6. remove outer-most path of each brush stroke because cover - actual black spots must remain

7. group brushes

8. copy brushes because eaten every time

now repeat following steps every. single. glyph.

9. move brushes paths group background

10. select glyph , brushes

11. select pathfinder -> subtract background

12. paste brushes @ original position (except after last glyph)

this longer texts.

how can apply intersect effects on whole groups of objects, no matter are? there's rounded rectangle around text need handle separately well. there must easier way.

ps: kind of got idea: http://howto.nicubunu.ro/rubber_stamp_inkscape/ plain brush didn't work well, although used tablet, tried brushes come such scattered effect.

please show example. layers visible, appearances visible.
