Thread: Terminal editors of yesteryear

playing shell scripts, found out nano accidentally. cute little editor, seems respect selected terminal font size.

i'm on 50 now, , sworn enemy of programs throw tiny fonts.

bit of long shot, one, has done "brief" emulation linux? brief character-based editor had cult following circa 1990, when churning out 80x86 assembler , c.

there graphical emulation done under win32. think might have been called "zeus".

google found these:
* http://crisp.com/ - paid
* http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...r-availability - paid

never used brief on purpose then, cross-platform geany these days programming.
